Aricept Side Effects
Aricept side effects may include:
- Abdominal pain or diarrhea;
- Closing of the throat;
- Difficulty in breathing;
- Drowsiness or dizziness;
- Dry mouth;
- Insomnia or vivid dreams;
- Muscle cramps;
- Nausea vomi ting or decreased appetite;
- Swelling of the lips tongue face or hives;
Aricept Drug Reactions
Inform your doctor if you follow a treatment with any of the following medicines:
- Carbamazepine (Tegretol);
- Dexamethasone (Decadron);
- Fluconazole (Diflucan);
- Itraconazole (Sporanox);
- Ketoconazole (Nizoral);
- Mephobarbital (Mebaral);
- Methylprednisolone (Medrol);
- Pentobarbital (Nembutal);
- Phenobarbital (Luminal Solfoton);
- Phenytoin (Dilantin);

- Prednisone (Deltasone);
- Quinidine (Cardioquin Quinidex Quinaglute);
- Rifabutin (Mycobutin);

- Secobarbital (Seconal);
Symptoms of Aricept overdose may include:
- Blurred vision;
- Collapse;
- Fainting;
- Seizures;
- Serious nausea;
- Slow heartbeat and breathing;
- Sustained or severe dizziness;
- Sweating;
- Vomiting;
- Watering mouth;
Aricept Contraindications
Aricept is contraindicated if you have:
- Heart disease such as slow irregular heartbeat;
- History of stomach ulcers;
- Kidney disease including difficulty in urina ting;
- Liver disease;
- Lung problems including asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD);
- Need to have surgery;
- Seizures;
