Natrilix Indications
Natrilix is drug, which belongs to the group called diuretics. Natrilix helps in reducing the amount of fluid in the body by increasing the amount of urine excreted by the body.
Natrilix is primarily indicated in treating high blood pressure or hypertension. Natrilix may also be indicated for purposes other than those mentioned in this guide.
Natrilix Contraindications
Natrilix may not be advisable if you have any of the following conditions:
- Liver disease;
- Kidney disease;
- Gout;
- Diabetes mellitus;
Inform your doctor if you have these conditions before taking Natrilix so your doctor can take the necessary precautions such as adjust your dosage or monitor your intake of Natrilix.
It is not known whether Natrilix could harm an unborn child or not. Do not take Natrilix without your doctor's permission if you are pregnant or might be pregnant during treatment. In general, it is not advisable to take Natrilix when a woman is pregnant.
It is also unknown if Natrilix passes into breast milk. Natrilix is also not known to cause any defects to a nursing infant. However, do not take Natrilix without your doctor's consent if you are nursing a baby.
Natrilix Intake Guidelines
Natrilix should be taken in exactly as described by your doctor. If there are matters that you do not understand, refer to your doctor, nurse or a pharmacist and ask him or her to explain those matters to you.
Make sure to follow all of your doctor's instructions when taking Natrilix to prevent unwanted effects.
Natrilix Dosage
Dosage of Natrilix should be obtained from your doctor. Dosage may vary from person to person with regards to a variety of factors, which include severity of the condition, age and others.
Do not take in more or less of Natrilix so as not to alter its affects and to prevent overdose.
Natrilix Overdose
Symptoms of overdose of Natrilix are not known. However, if you think you are experiencing overdose, seek immediate medical attention or call poison control. Inform your doctor afterwards.
Natrilix Missed Dose
Doses of Natrilix should not be missed. If a dose is missed, however, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and take the subsequent doses according to schedule. Do not take double doses of this medication unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Natrilix Side Effects
Natrilix may have any of the following serious side effects and allergic reactions:
- Dryness of mouth;
- Hives;
- Increased thirst;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Itching;
- Mood or mental changes;
- Muscle cramps or pain;
- Nausea or vomiting;
- Skin rash;
- Unusual tiredness or weakness;
- Weak pulse;
If you experience any of these, discontinue use of Natrilix and inform your doctor.
Natrilix may also have less serious side effects that are more likely to occur. They include the following:
- Diarrhea;
- Dizziness or lightheadedness when getting up from a lying or sitting position;
- Headache;
- Loss of appetite;
- Stomach upset;
- Trouble in sleeping;
If you experience any of these, continue using Natrilix but inform your doctor immediately.
Other side effects may also occur when you take Natrilix. Inform your doctor if you experience anything unusual while or after taking Natrilix.
Natrilix Interactions
Natrilix may interact with the following drugs:
- Lithium;
- Digital glycosides;
Other drugs may also interact with Natrilix. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medications other than Natrilix including over the counter prescriptions.
