Moduretic is indicated to patients who are suffering from hypertension or from lack of potassium.
Moduretic Drug Reactions
Inform your doctor if you follow a treatment with any of the following medicines:
- Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors;
- Cholestyramine;
- Colestipol;
- Cyclosporine (Sandimmune);
- Digitalis glycosides;
- Drugs that are known to contain amounts of potassium;
- Lithium;

Moduretic Contraindications
Moduretic is contraindicated if you have:
- Blood vessel or heart disease;
- Breast enlargement in the case of male patients;
- Diabetes mellitus;
- Gout;
- Kidney disorders;
- Kidney stones;
- Liver disease;
- Lupus erythematosus;
- Menstrual problems in the case of female patients;
- Pancreatitis;
